When your email accounts are first set up, you need to instruct your email software (like Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook) to check and download all your emails. This only needs to be done once, after which your email software will "remember" how to do it in the future.
Simply follow the steps below to set up the email software of your choice
SOLUTION
For Outlook Express Users
| 1) First, open Microsoft Outlook Express and click on "Set Up A Mail Account". |
| 2) From the Outlook Express main menu, select Tools and select Accounts. |
| 3) Click on the "Add" button then click on "Mail" |
| 4) Enter your full name or your company name and click the "Next" button. When people receive emails from you, this is the name that they will see |
| 5) Enter your email address and click the "Next" button |
6) For your "Incoming" and "Outgoing" servers, simply enter mail dot your Dot Com name. For example, if your Dot Com name is KristyLee.com then it is "mail.kristylee.com". Click the "Next" button when you are done.
| 7) For the "Account Name", enter your full email address and enter your email account password. Click the "Next" button when you are done. |
| 8) You will then see a message congratulating you on your new email address. Just click the "Finish" button. |
| 9) When you are back at the "Account" window, click on the "Close" button to close it |
| 10) And that's it! You will now be able to check your email with Outlook Express. |
