Before You Begin
You should already have an email address that has been created for you in your website control panel. If you do not know how to do this, send us a support Ticket and request for an email address. If your domain is "peterandsons.com", you can request for an email address like contact@peterandsons.com.
You will need the following information ready:
- Username: your full email address
- Password: your email account password
- Incoming Mailserver Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
- Outgoing Mailserver Hostname: mail.yourdomain.com
Getting Started
First, ensure you have an email software like K9 Mail installed (this can be downloaded for free from your PlayStore or App Marketplace).
NOTE: As not every Android device is the same, the steps below may not be in the exact order - however, these instructions act as guidelines on the information.
- Open K9 Mail
- Go to the Settings option
- Enter your Email Address as the username
- Enter your password
- On the NEXT screen, click IMAP
- Your IMAP Mail Server is mail.yourdomain.com
- Security Type: NONE
- Port: 465
- Click NEXT
- SMTP Mail Server: mail.yourdomain.com
- Security Type: NONE
- Port: 587
- Click NEXT
- Tick the box that says "Require Signin"
- Authentication Type: PLAIN
- Username: your email address
- Password: your password
- Click Next
- Continue with the rest of the steps until you are DONE
